Steel Cruising Boat

This is exciting! Just listed a very cool Seahorse Coot 36 2011.  Great long range steel boat, super sturdy, super economy. This boat is clean and ready to head North Now.  If you have ever wanted a Diesel Duck LRC this is built by the same people, with the same attention to ship like construction that goes into the larger Diesel Ducks.   SOLD!

Moving Forward

The last couple of weeks we have been taking trips down to the UW and Harborview.  Niccole’s dad was diagnosed with lung cancer.  It quickly spread to his brain and so he spent a week at the UW  having brain surgery.  Then we had to go back for radiation to the tumor site, several trips to Harborview.  He is receiving immunotherapy now and seem pretty stable. We are hoping that we have a few good months, or longer, with him relatively healthy and feeling alright.
Jazzy, Niccole’s Daughter just finished up her second year at Western. We are very proud of her.  She is back living with us for a while. In July she will be moving into a condo up in Belingham with some roommates. She is quite excited to be renting her first place away from home. (that’s not a dorm).
Since Niccole and I have just been though the illness, and loss of her Mother last April, and my Father in December, we know how the illness of a family member can put your life on hold.  Of course their care comes first before anything else.  But we have also learned that life keeps moving forward and we have to live too.  So last weekend we looked at a property here in Anacortes that we both felt would make a great rental, and a someday house for us to live in.  By Wednesday we had an accepted offer! It is an exciting step for us to be starting to build up our own investments together.  And since we have decided that we are going to stay in the warehouse loft apartment for a while. (we love the location) we have started to fix it up to make it more of a home.  I even added a split system, heat pump, air conditioner to our bedroom, which should make for a nice comfortable summer.
