I worked for over a decade as an ABYC Marine Electrician in Anacortes before becoming a yacht broker in 2015. During that time, doing business as Rovang Marine, I had the opportunity to work on many of amazing yachts.
Dodge Buoy was one of the great yachts that I had the opportunity be involved with. It is a one of a kind yacht, built like a commercial vessel down below, and a spacious, beautiful yacht on the upper decks. When you walk up to Dodge Buoy for the first time you are immediately impressed by her size, and sturdy good looks. Stepping aboard the next thing you are struck by is the level of care that this yacht has enjoyed. Age does not mater when a very high quality yacht has been continuously maintained to the highest standards.
The owner of Dodge Buoy recently contacted me and said that he is reluctantly considering putting her up for sale. He is not ready to list the boat with a broker, but he has taken the time to provide photos, make a description sheet, and put a price on the boat based on a recent survey.
